Single-Sided Copper-Base PCB

A single-sided copper-base PCB designed for the most thermally demanding LED and power-conversion modules. The copper substrate sits directly under the trace layer with only a thin dielectric in between, giving the lowest junction-to-base thermal resistance available among standard metal-core constructions. This makes copper-base the natural choice for high-flux COB LEDs, high-current LED drivers, automotive lamp clusters, and laser modules that would over-temperature on aluminum. Single-sided routing keeps cost competitive against more complex multilayer alternatives while preserving the full thermal benefit of a copper carrier. The exposed copper edge can be mechanically bonded directly to a chassis or heat-pipe assembly, removing thermal interface materials in some designs. Typical use in COB and high-flux LED lamps, automotive headlights, projector light engines, EV charging indicators, and high-power flashlight modules.
