INDUSTRIES

Five industries. One process library.

FQC's board-shop runs the same 12-station flow for every sector — what changes is the stackup, the copper weight, and the audit binder. Pick a sector below to see how the spec ceiling maps to real product categories.

01 · AI / Server

AI, Server & Data Center

MARKET CONTEXT

AI training clusters and 800G/1.6T optical modules have reset the PCB spec bar in 2024-2026. Backplanes, accelerator carriers, and CPO midplanes now demand 40+ layer counts, sub-25 μm lines, and ±5% impedance across every pair. Demand is capacity-constrained — the bottleneck is not design, it's fabs that can actually hold those specs in volume.

FQC CAPABILITY FIT

  • Up to 100 layers, validated on parent 42L ATE test board (2024 Guangdong Outstanding Hi-Tech Product).
  • 5th-order any-layer HDI to 16L — 3+4+3 HDI qualified for 800G optical modules.
  • Megtron 7/8, Taconic RF-35 in regular production; ±5% impedance on every pair.
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — signed Gerbers stay in-house.

02 · Automotive

Automotive & EV

MARKET CONTEXT

ADAS, 77 GHz radar, BMS, and high-voltage inverters dominate the EV bill-of-materials. Auto customers will not onboard a fab without IATF 16949 and 15+ year field-reliability data. Thai production also dodges the US tariff schedule on China-origin PCB — a live issue for 2026 ship-to-NA programs.

FQC CAPABILITY FIT

  • IATF 16949:2016 certified, triple-stacked with ISO 9001 and QC080000 on the same line.
  • 15 oz UL-listed outer-layer, 13 oz multilayer for BMS bus-bars and inverter DC rails.
  • Rogers RO3003 qualified for 77 GHz radar; Megtron 6 for ADAS compute.
  • Multilayer rigid to 24L — standard for ADAS ECU and infotainment boards.

03 · Medical

Medical Devices

MARKET CONTEXT

Imaging, analytical, and patient-monitoring OEMs buy on traceability, not price. A 15-20 year product lifecycle means the fab must hold the same spec for a decade — material changes require re-qualification. Aging populations across Japan, EU, and North America are pulling demand through, especially for outpatient diagnostic instruments.

FQC CAPABILITY FIT

  • ISO 13485:2016 certified for medical device quality management.
  • IPC-A-600 Class 3 workflow available; full panel serialization and lot traceability.
  • Low-outgassing material options (polyimide flex, high-Tg FR-4) for sealed enclosures.
  • Proven on 15-20 year lifecycle programs with Japanese analytical OEMs.

04 · Industrial

Industrial Control, Robotics & FA

MARKET CONTEXT

PLCs, servo drives, CNC controllers, vision sensors, industrial comm — the workhorse of Japanese factory automation. High-mix, low-volume, ruthless on audit rigor, forgiving on unit price if you hit the spec. Industrial control is the largest revenue slice at parent co (≈50%) precisely because it rewards exactly the discipline FQC is built around.

FQC CAPABILITY FIT

  • 20+ years continuous supply to Japanese FA OEMs — founder trained at Tokyo University.
  • High-mix low-volume line configuration; 50,000 m²/month Phase 1 capacity.
  • IATF 16949 + ISO 9001 + QC080000 on one line — rare at a Thai fab from day one.
  • Full Gerber-to-shipment traceability; 1.7% workforce turnover protects process memory.

05 · Power / Telecom

Power, Solar & Telecom

MARKET CONTEXT

Solar inverters, EV charging piles, 5G massive-MIMO, and industrial power supplies all push current density and thermal margin beyond what 6 oz copper can handle. 5G mmWave has also pushed base-station PAs into the 28-40 GHz band, where material loss and impedance control define yield.

FQC CAPABILITY FIT

  • 15 oz UL-listed outer-layer and 13 oz multilayer heavy copper — 15% above the PCBWay ceiling.
  • Thermal-via arrays rated to 400 A for inverter DC rails and charger busbars.
  • 40 GHz high-frequency flow on Rogers RO3003 / Taconic RF-35 for 5G PAs.
  • UL listing in place for heavy-copper safety-critical applications.
