Aluminum Car Head-Up Display PCB

A single-sided aluminum-core PCB for automotive head-up display (HUD) light engines, built on HA82-T3 aluminum substrate at 2.0±0.2mm thickness with HASL finish. The aluminum core sinks heat directly from the high-brightness LEDs and laser diode drivers used to project the HUD image onto the windshield, keeping junction temperatures low and protecting the optical alignment from thermal drift. Aluminum-core construction also adds mechanical stiffness, which reduces image vibration over rough roads and extends the life of solder joints under thermal cycling. HASL surface finish is robust against the temperature swings inside the dashboard housing and tolerates production variability in automotive supply chains. Typical use in passenger-car HUDs, EV instrument clusters, motorcycle HUDs, AR displays, and other in-vehicle optical modules where heat per LED is high and packaging space is limited.
