Converter PCB

A 2-layer metal-core PCB for compact DC-DC and AC-DC converters, 1.2±0.12mm thick with OSP finish. The metal core directly under the switching devices conducts heat away from MOSFETs, schottky diodes, and inductors, allowing high-power density without forced air flow in many enclosures. The 2-layer construction is cost-optimized for converter platforms shipped in high volume, where the design priority is reliable thermal management plus simple control routing. OSP finish gives flat, oxidation-resistant pads compatible with high-throughput SMT assembly and reflow profiles common in consumer and industrial power supply lines. Typical use in adapters, LED drivers, point-of-load converters, telecom DC bricks, EV auxiliary supplies, charger sub-boards, and other compact converter modules where thermal headroom and unit cost have to be balanced on the same board.
