Smart Racket Sensor PCB

A 6-layer HDI PCB built for smart sports rackets, on Isola 370HR high-Tg laminate at 0.716±0.10mm thickness with ENIG finish. The thin form factor lets the assembly slot inside the racket handle without changing balance or swing weight, while the 6-layer HDI construction packs the microcontroller, MEMS motion sensor, battery management, and Bluetooth or Wi-Fi radio into a fingernail-sized footprint. Inner-layer ground planes shield the radio section from the sensor analog front-end so motion data stays clean during high-speed swings. Once paired with a phone or tablet, the firmware streams swing speed, angle, rotation and impact data for real-time coaching apps. Typical end products are tennis, badminton and squash smart rackets, plus other instrumented wearable sports gear.
