A 2-layer RF PCB on Rogers RT/duroid PTFE-glass laminate, 0.45±0.10mm thick with immersion silver finish. RT/duroid is the canonical low-loss substrate for microwave and mmWave: tightly controlled Dk (typically 2.20–2.94 depending on grade), Df below 0.002, isotropic dielectric, and stable performance up to 77GHz and beyond. The thin substrate and silver finish minimize conductor and dielectric loss for transmission lines, filters, couplers, and antennas. Sihui Fuji has trial-produced this stackup for 5G and radar applications. Used in 5G mmWave antennas and front-ends, satellite navigation, automotive 24/77GHz radar, point-to-point microwave links, defense radios, and instrumentation up to 40GHz where conductor surface roughness and substrate Dk uniformity are the binding spec.
