Four-Layer Heavy Copper PCB

A 4-layer heavy copper PCB at 2.4±0.24mm thickness with ENIG surface finish, sized for medium-current power conversion and motor control. The two inner copper planes carry the bulk DC bus currents while the outer layers route gate signals, sense lines, and protection logic, giving a compact 4-layer alternative to bulkier 6 and 8-layer stacks. ENIG finish provides flat, oxidation-resistant pads suitable for both fine-pitch ICs and large bus-bar terminals on the same board, which simplifies assembly and lowers BOM cost. The thick copper construction also improves heat spreading from MOSFET, IGBT, and SiC devices, extending operating life under high-duty switching. Typical use in industrial DC-DC converters, off-board EV chargers, photovoltaic inverters, telecom rectifiers, and machine-tool drives where current density and thermal margin matter more than layer count.
