15oz Heavy Copper Board

A 3-layer extreme heavy copper PCB at 15oz copper weight, built for very high DC current and aggressive thermal load. At 15oz the copper layer is roughly 525um thick, which lets the board replace traditional bus bars in compact assemblies and carry hundreds of amps continuously. The thick copper sinks heat directly into the substrate and connectors, lowering the temperature of switching devices and welded terminals during peak load. Manufacturing requires controlled trapezoidal etching, dielectric fill of large copper steps, and tightened plating to maintain via wall reliability across the thick stack. Typical use in industrial welding inverters, electroplating rectifiers, electric vehicle high-power charging stations, traction systems, large UPS units, and renewable energy converters where the design goal is replacing copper bus structures with a single planar PCB.
