Video Decoder PCB

A 12-layer video decoder PCB manufactured with 4-stage laser drilling, 0.8±0.10mm overall thickness, and electro gold plating on contact areas to support gold-wire bonding and edge fingers. Four sequential laser-drill stages enable any-layer microvia connectivity needed by modern video SoCs that decode HDMI, composite, and component inputs alongside HEVC and H.264 streams. The thin profile fits inside slim set-top boxes, broadcast capture cards, IP camera back-ends, and conference-room codecs, while electro gold plating gives durable, low-resistance contacts for backplane connectors and bonding pads. The 12-layer stack accommodates multiple controlled-impedance pairs for high-speed video buses and DDR memory while keeping the power-delivery network compact under thermally hot decoder packages.
