Through Hole Circuit Board
PRODUCT SPEC

Through Hole Circuit Board

A printed circuit board designed for through-hole component assembly, where leaded parts are inserted into plated holes and soldered on the opposite side rather than reflowed onto surface pads. Through-hole construction gives mechanically stronger joints than SMT, which matters for connectors, heavy magnetics, and high-current power components that have to absorb mechanical stress and thermal cycling without lifting. The board supports wave-soldering or selective-soldering processes and is typical of designs that mix high-power components, frequent service, and long product life. Repair and rework are easier than dense SMT, and components are clearly identifiable by silkscreen for field service. Typical uses include industrial control panels, power supplies and converters, automotive under-the-hood electronics, audio amplifiers, and energy equipment where ruggedness and serviceability outweigh density.
