Rail Transit Board

An 8-layer S1000-2M PCB at 1.6±0.16mm finished thickness, finished with ENIG. Rail transit electronics live a long service life on rolling stock and trackside cabinets, where they see continuous vibration, wide temperature swings, dust, and EMI from traction systems. S1000-2M handles the thermal cycling and CTE profile of these environments, and the 8-layer stack splits power, ground, control, and communication clearly enough to keep traction-system EMI out of signaling and sensor lines. ENIG keeps contact pads flat and oxidation-resistant for connectors that may sit under partial humidity for years. Typical applications include train control modules, signaling and interlocking boards, traction-system auxiliary boards, on-board communication gateways, and trackside instrumentation cabinets.
