A 16-layer LiDAR PCB on S1000-2M laminate at 1.85±0.15mm thickness, finished with ENIG and built with controlled-impedance routing for the high-speed pulse and receive paths in automotive and industrial laser radar units. The 16-layer stack hosts the laser-driver power loop, avalanche-photodiode (APD) or single-photon-avalanche-diode (SPAD) bias rails, time-to-digital converter inputs, and FPGA or SoC point-cloud processing on the same board, with adjacent reference planes containing return currents along sub-nanosecond rise-edge nets. ENIG surface finish supports fine-pitch BGA assembly for FPGAs and ASICs, and S1000-2M provides the dielectric stability needed for repeatable impedance across automotive thermal range. Typical end uses include ADAS LiDAR sensors, autonomous-driving perception stacks, AGV obstacle detection, and defense ranging modules.
