Faucet Automatic Sensor Board

A 6-layer hybrid stackup using S1000-2M for the structural and digital layers and IF-2LD5018NJ2 for the sensor-side dielectric, finished with ENIG and built to 1.2±0.12mm. The construction handles infrared proximity sensing and timing logic in a single board, keeping the sensor analog front end isolated from the switching driver and microcontroller domains. ENIG gives the contact pads a flat, oxidation-resistant surface for reliable solder joints in humid bathroom and kitchen environments. The hybrid material choice balances cost on the digital section against signal-quality requirements on the sensor section. Typical applications include touchless faucet controllers, automatic soap dispensers, smart-home plumbing nodes, lighting trigger sensors, and instrumentation modules where short-range presence detection is required.
