
A 2-layer heavy-copper encoder PCB at 1.6±0.16mm thickness, designed to host the optical or magnetic sensing front-end and the supporting motor-feedback electronics in rotary and linear encoders. The heavy-copper construction increases current-carrying capacity for shared power and ground rails between the encoder ASIC, line-driver outputs, and downstream motion controller, while improving thermal dissipation in tightly packed servo-drive enclosures. Typical applications include industrial servo motors, CNC machine spindles, AGV and AMR drive units, robotic joint feedback, and automotive throttle and steering position sensors. Two-layer construction keeps cost contained for volume production, and the 1.6mm thickness gives the rigidity needed for direct-mount encoder housings and connectorized cable assemblies.
