A 4-layer automotive heater PCB at 1.6±0.16mm thickness with finished outer-layer copper of 70um or more and Sn-Ni-Cu surface finish, designed for high-current heating circuits in new-energy vehicles. The heavy outer copper carries sustained battery-level current to PTC heaters, coolant heaters, and cabin heating loops without excessive trace heating, while the 4-layer stack lets designers separate the high-current power loop from gate-drive control and CAN/LIN communication signals. Sn-Ni-Cu finish resists corrosion in damp under-hood and battery-pack environments and tolerates the repeated thermal cycling typical of EV winter operation. Typical applications include traction-battery preheaters, cabin PTC heaters, defrost element controllers, and thermal management modules in electric and plug-in hybrid platforms.
