A 1-layer flexible PCB with aluminum-core stiffener reinforcement, built on 2LD5035 polyimide film at 1.2±0.12mm overall thickness with ENIG surface finish. The flex film carries the high-density LED matrix and driver routing, while the aluminum core acts as both mechanical stiffener and thermal spreader, pulling heat away from densely populated SMD LED clusters. This hybrid construction is suited for curved LED display tiles, indoor video walls, vehicle exterior signage, and decorative lighting where the flex layer follows the housing curvature and the aluminum core stabilizes long, narrow strips. ENIG ensures stable solder joints for thousands of fine-pitch LED packages over the product lifetime. Manufacturing involves laminating the flex film to a pre-cut aluminum stiffener, copper imaging, coverlay application on the flex side, and final electroless plating.
