Button PCB

A 2-layer flexible PCB designed for membrane and dome-array buttons, built on FCCL polyimide laminate at 0.12±0.16mm thickness. The thin double-layer flex carries the contact pad matrix on one side and routes scan signals to the host controller on the other, replacing rigid board plus harness assemblies in keypads and control panels. Typical applications include consumer remote controls, smart-home wall keypads, automotive dashboard switch arrays, wearable side-buttons, and industrial handheld trigger boards. The flexible substrate allows the keypad to follow non-flat housings and survive repeated dome-press cycles without solder-joint stress propagating into rigid neighboring boards. Manufacturing uses precision copper imaging on rolled-annealed copper, selective coverlay or screen-printed dielectric over the contact pads, and laser cutting to drop-in form factors.
