A 6-layer rigid-flex PCB designed for implantable and wearable neuro-stimulation devices such as deep-brain-stimulation pulse generators and externally worn brain pacemakers. The construction combines S1000-2M rigid material with IF-2LD2518NJ2 flex laminate at 1.0±0.11mm total thickness with ENIG surface finish, providing the mechanical thinness required to fit inside skull-form or cranial-mount housings. The rigid sections host the stimulation IC, low-noise sensing front-end, MCU, and battery-management circuit, while the flex zone routes electrode-array signals to small distal connector landings without harness assemblies. Manufacturing emphasizes biocompatible material control, traceability, and reliability testing aligned with medical-device quality systems. ENIG provides the inert, oxidation-resistant surface required for fine-pitch reflow and long-term stability in implant-adjacent electronics.
